Sanitation Officer

A luxury cruise company is seeking an experienced Sanitation Officer to join their fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of the vessel with public health rules and regulations as outlaid in the company HESS-MS structure in the F&B department. They will also, contribute to the efficient operation of all ship board F&B operations including supervision of, Dishwashing, Pot-washing, restocking of the line with plates and crockeries, paper towel and soap restocking and the overall cleanliness of the galley and they are accountable for keeping all galley’s up to USPH/FDA standards at all times. Other responsibilities include, coordinating specific pest control activities as per the ships schedule and plan, and, providing training for new joining crew in specific Public Health required classes and providing input and guidance to the ships on board trainers who also provide crew public health training. The applicant must be able to perform many varied jobsassociated with the cleaning and sanitation of equipment, utensils and facility, including but not limited to: the proper use of chemicals at proper dosing, the operation and wash down of processing equipment,manual cleaning of equipment and utensils, sweeping/ washing floors, washing walls and overhead pipes, etc. As a candidate, you must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Sanitation Supervisor for a large cruise line or Executive Steward for a large scale hotel/resort with a high volume F&B operation, including creation of cleaning schedules and cleaning chemical storage & stock take, excellent knowledge of and experiencewith the US Vessel Sanitation Program (U.S.P.H.) and hold USPH certification. It is desired that you also have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to speak and write English fluently, and are able to lead teams in a positive and productive mannerby inspiring and developing individuals and effectively managing processes. Chef de Partie

A luxury cruise is seeking an experienced and qualified Chef de Partie. The successful candidate will be responsible forassisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef and ensuring that the food production in his/her section is in line with the Company standards. They will also be organising the working schedule and monitoring performance of staff in his/her work area, such as Demi Chef de Partie and Assistant Cooks. The successful candidate will ensure equipment and utensils of the section is in good working order and meets the Company’s health and hygiene standards and report any non-functioning equipment to their direct supervisors. The candidate will participate actively in all operations of the section by leading, guiding and assisting his/her staff at all times. International Hosts

An internationally renowned cruise company is seeking International Hosts to join their fleet. Previous cruise ship experience would be an advantage, but is not necessary. Candidates must have at least 6 months experience in hotels in a similar position (i.e. Receptionist, Concierge, Customer Service). In order to be considered for this position, the candidate should be fluent in one or more of the following languages: English, German, French, Dutch, Japanese, Danish, Swedish and Spanish. All candidates must also be able to speak English at C1 level. A valid MedicalUS C1/D Visa and STCW Certification will be required once appointed. Salary in Euros, paid whilst onboard. There is also an incentive on top of the salary. Rotation is 6 months on, 2 months off.
