We are looking for a Chef/Stew to work aboard a 50ft+ Charter Sailing Catamaran. Start Date: 1st April 2019Candidates will begin with a seasonal contract, with a view to make permanent. The boat has a busy schedule with 8 charters per year with a 4-6 week owner trip during the summer in the Med. Up to 6 guests on charter. 2 crew aboard - Captain and Chef/Stew. Candidates must be able to cook fresh healthy meals. Captain will assist with service when required. Candidates will oversee all interior (4 cabins) and will need to assist on deck when required. Candidates must have an excellent attitude, keen to learn. Chef de Cuisine

A luxury cruise company is looking to recruit an experienced Chef de Cuisine. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the food production areas in the assigned galley, and producing and maintaining the expected level of food quality in the assigned area of responsibility. Working in conjunction with the Sous Chef, the CDC is fully responsible for the entire Galley operation assigned, which includes, but is not limited to food safety, creativity, cleanliness, staff management, time management, repair and maintenance, following USPH standards complying with HACCP program, public relations and guest interaction. Other responsibilities include being responsible for the training and development of staff, ensuring excellent cooperation with the Maitre D’ and discuss operational issues on a daily basis, conduct menu briefings every two days or as often as required, and providing the highest levels of comfort and hospitality to guests and ensure impeccable standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas, as per VOC standards. Executive Pastry Chef

Sanitation Officer

A luxury cruise company is seeking an experienced Sanitation Officer to join their fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of the vessel with public health rules and regulations as outlaid in the company HESS-MS structure in the F&B department. They are also accountable for keeping all galley’s up to USPH/FDA standards at all times. Other responsibilities include, coordinating specific pest control activities as per the ships schedule and plan, and, providing training for new joining crew in specific Public Health required classes and providing input and guidance to the ships on board trainers who also provide crew public health training. The applicant must be able to perform many varied jobs associated with the cleaning and sanitation of equipment, utensils and facility, including but not limited to: the proper use of chemicals at proper dosing, the operation and wash down of processing equipment,manual cleaning of equipment and utensils, sweeping/ washing floors, washing walls and overhead pipes, etc. As a candidate, you must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Sanitation Supervisor for a large cruise line and hold CDC Certification. Up to date STCW Basic Safety Training certification is required and candidates must have a Seafarer's Medical Certificate (ENG1 or equivalent). Salary paid US Dollars.
