We are seeking an experienced Sanitation Officer to join a cruise brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of the vessel with public health rules and regulations as outlaid in the company HESS-MS structure in the F&B department. They are also accountable for keeping all galley’s up to USPH/FDA standards at all times. Other responsibilities include, coordinating specific pest control activities as per the ships schedule and plan, and, providing training for new joining crew in specific Public Health required classes and providing input and guidance to the ships on board trainers who also provide crew public health training. The applicant must be able to perform many varied jobs associated with the cleaning and sanitation of equipment, utensils and facility, including but not limited to: the proper use of chemicals at proper dosing, the operation and wash down of processing equipment,manual cleaning of equipment and utensils, sweeping/ washing floors, washing walls and overhead pipes, etc. As a candidate, you must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Sanitation Supervisor for a large cruise line and hold CDC Certification. Up to date STCW Basic Safety Training certification is required and candidates must have a Seafarer's Medical Certificate (ENG1 or equivalentSalary paid US Dollars.
