The successful candidate will ensure equipment and utensils of the section is in good working order and meets the Company’s health and hygiene standards and report any non-functioning equipment to their direct supervisors. Sous Chef Pastry

Sous Chef

The candidate will assist the Executive Sous Chef and will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running operation of food production areas in their assigned galleys, they are to constantly analyse that the quality of food production and preparation are in compliance with company standards and recipes, and work closely with the Kitchen Steward in order to accomplish tasks related to inventory, equipment control and maintenance, USPH Sanitation Rules/Regulations, training and re- enforcement. The candidate must have advanced culinary skills and leadership experience and have a minimum of ten years experience working in quality hotels and restaurants. Sanitation Officer

A luxury cruise company is seeking an experienced Sanitation Officer to join their fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of the vessel with public health rules and regulations as outlaid in the company HESS-MS structure in the F&B department. They are also accountable for keeping all galley’s up to USPH/FDA standards at all times. Other responsibilities include, coordinating specific pest control activities as per the ships schedule and plan, and, providing training for new joining crew in specific Public Health required classes and providing input and guidance to the ships on board trainers who also provide crew public health training. The applicant must be able to perform many varied jobs associated with the cleaning and sanitation of equipment, utensils and facility, including but not limited to: the proper use of chemicals at proper dosing, the operation and wash down of processing equipment,manual cleaning of equipment and utensils, sweeping/ washing floors, washing walls and overhead pipes, etc. As a candidate, you must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Sanitation Supervisor for a large cruise line and hold CDC Certification. Up to date STCW Basic Safety Training certification is required and candidates must have a Seafarer's Medical Certificate (ENG1 or equivalent). Salary paid US Dollars. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing all blow drys, sets, colours, bleaching and upstyles to exceed guest expectations and satisfaction. It is expected that the candidate will be present for shifts in a timely manner according to the published schedule and begin and end all hair/barber services on time as scheduled. The applicant should be knowledgeable of all spa services and promotionsbeing run as well as know what is happening around the ship. Other duties include, attending all spa and departmental meetings, completing all cleaning logs as required and promoting yourself across the vessel to make guests aware of the services offered at the spa.
