A new spa operator at sea is seeking a Nail Technician to join their team on board a UK cruise brand The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all trained manicure and pedicure services, following procedures in place to ensure the comfort of the guests. It is expected that the candidate will be present for shifts in a timely manner according to the published schedule and begin and end all services on time as scheduled. The applicant should be knowledgeable of all spa services and promotions being run as well as know what is happening around the ship. Other duties include, attending all spa and departmental meetings, completing all cleaning logs as required and promoting yourself across the vessel to make guests aware of the services offered at the spa. A minimum of 2 years experience as a Nail Technician is necessary and the successful candidate should have good time management, and good communication skills. Salary paid in GBP (£). Rotation is 8 months on, 2 months offSTCW certification and valid seafarer's medical are required.


Chief Purser

Social and Welfare Host

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintain a high profile and active relationships with passengers to set the tone of an enjoyable cruise and pro-actively contacting less mobile passengers to provide guidance on selecting the right tours, and ensuring good holiday experience. Other duties will include coordinating all matters relating to passenger requests for celebrations, blessings, birthdays etc. Liaising with all relevant departments to ensure the smooth co-ordination of social eventswithin the cruise programme such as Captain’s cocktail, hosted tables, solo events etc. Carrying out desk duties as required and producing promotional material for celebration packages is also part of this role. You will also have a pager to ensure contact is made immediately in case of passenger illness or injury. Acting as liaison and coordinator for thewelfare of all passengers who become ill or injured, and accompanying passengers to the onboard infirmary and shore-side hospitals. The candidate should then ensure daily follow upof all passenger welfare following any illness/incident and complete all necessary administrative reports and paperwork in a timely manner ensuring a smooth handover of information to head office, resort office, and insurance companies as necessary. Valid STCW Certification and Seafarer's Medical will be required.
